Please help save my sister, dad, and I from eviction!

On August 12, 2024, my father went through total organ failure brought on by an onslaught of several serious medical complications. He spent two and a half weeks in the ICU, then transferred to a rehabilitation hospital where he has been since, and it is uncertain how long he will remain there. His path of recovery has been slow and painful for us all, but we can say with absolute relief that he will make it out okay.

Unfortunately, our dad is also the sole provider for me and my sister, and the past month's bills and living expenses have totally exhausted what we had in savings. Even when our dad is able to come home, he will be under 24/7 at-home care and unable to work for an expected year at the very least. Governmental assistance has been delayed to us for over a month and it is still unknown when we can receive emergency assistance. As I am a full-time college student and my sister is gearing up to become my dad's full-time at-home caretaker, we are unable to obtain work in the meantime.

With this month coming to a close and the next around the corner, we have a new series of rent and bills that we will be unable to pay. We are asking with utmost gratitude for support from friends and family to help us pay for this month's rent, utilities, and bills to keep us from losing our home amongst other necessities.
