Please help. Loki is running out of time

I adopted Loki 8 years ago when he was just a little kitten. He was adopted alongside my other kitty, Luna, from an organization that saves animals from high kill shelters. He is a mischievous little adventurer who loves to play, go for walks on his leash, and cuddle. He's truly the most loving and affectionate little companion. Unfortunately, he started getting sick in September and I'm still searching for answers with the veterinarian. He's currently being kept relatively stable on steroids. Regrettably the steroids are not a long term solution and are causing some severe muscle deterioration. He's rapidly running out of time. My only option now is an MRI. I've spent a considerable amount of money up to this point. But how can I put a price on the love I have for him? I've applied for grants, I don't qualify for pet insurance, and I'm trying to hold off on any kind of financing until I can get a diagnosis which may incur even more expense. If you can please donate I'd sincerely appreciate it. Once Loki is well again I'm happy to post pictures of him on his adventures or schedule some visits
