It's that time of year again when my friends Katherine, Michele and I coordinate a Christmas Collection for families who have had a change of luck.
This year the family consists of a Mom with 2 young kids. They recently lost their husband/dad suddenly to a massive stroke. The Mom is struggling with depression whilst working a job in IT and taking care of her 5 yr old son and 10yr old daughter. She has no family in the country - they all live in India.
Christmas is all about giving and what better way to give than to help someone going through a difficult time. Needy families come in all sizes and shapes and we never know when we may find ourselves in that position of need. Let's make this Christmas special for this family.
