Hi, my name is Melissa and I am trying to help my friend and co-worker. The day before Easter Michelle went to the ER with extremely high blood pressure, dizziness and blinding headaches. She was quickly admitted into the ICU where a CAT scan was later performed. Results of the scan showed a large meningioma (mass on the brain) that was wrapped around the vertebral artery (the artery that supplies blood to the brain). Michelle is scheduled for a craniotomy where the surgeon is confident he will be able to remove most if not all the tumor. This surgery will leave her with a lengthy recovery process. She will be under the care of nurses and rehabilitation specialists to regain balance and strength. She will remain out of work for at least 2 months.

Michelle is a single mother who does everything to make sure her children are happy and enjoying the sports they love. We are asking for assistance to help cover housing cost during this time.
