Last year we as a group summited the world’s highest free standing mountain, Kilimanjaro. We did this challenge in memory of a very special colleague and friend Steffan Hugo. We decided to raise money and donate towards the creation of an intensive Care Garden at Glan Clwyd hospital. We raised a total of £19,300.

With plans now in place we sat down as a group and decided we wanted another challenge. We will be flying out to North Africa on October 3rd to climb Mt Toubkal, North Africas highest mountain, standing at a height of 4167m.

We would again like to donate the money to the intensive care garden project. This garden will be a place where patients, family members and staff can go for some quiet time.
