Mt Lebanon Batting Cage Improvement Project

The Mt Lebanon Baseball Association is looking for your help with updates and improvements to the Batting Cages at Seymour Field along Cedar Blvd. The Batting Cages are a great Lebo Community resource- used by Youth Baseball/Softball, High School Baseball/Softball and individuals & families throughout the community.

*In appreciation of your support, The Clint Seymour Play Ball Fund ( has generously agreed to MATCH your donation (large or small) so that it doubles the value of your support of this worthwhile community project.

Planned improvements/updates will focus on 3 areas:

  • Safety- replacement of netting and updated surface of 3 existing batting cages, add anti-ricochet nets, remove as much interior hardscape as possible.
  • Functionality- add a 4th multi-use, full-length (70ft) bullpen/batting cage, add 3-4 hitting tee/soft-toss areas with sock netting and mats, create an improved space for multi-team activities and individual/family use.
  • Aesthetics- remove old hardscape and rusted, damaged fencing, replace netting and surfaces/mats, clean-up the surrounding area, and update signage.
