Mt. Ashland Dalmatian Donation!

Hi, my name is Aylah! My family and I are trying to save our dog. Thank you for reading our story!

Yuki was born in 2018, in South Korea. Little is known about her start, however, it is all quite miserable. She was abused and abandoned and before she was even six months old, Yuki wandered the streets alone until eventually, she was picked up and placed for sale in a meat market.
Sad story short; Thanks to the efforts of a remarkable canine rescue organization called 'Save -A -Spot Dalmatian Rescue', located in Turlock California, Yuki was liberated from her inevitable fate, and flown around the world to come live with us in Oregon!
We can never thank the team from Save-A- Spot enough.
Yuki is the cherry on top of our family unit! From the first moment she became part of our family, there was no question she was always meant to be ours.

What you need to know most about Yuki is that her fervor for life is unrivaled! Despite her dreadful past, riddled with mistreatment, isolation, and hunger; Her enthusiasm and love for people is at an all time high. She is the ultimate hiking buddy and loves to sprint around our home, chasing deer and, really, any other forest creatures, here on Mt. A!
Another adorable thing about Yuki is how much she LOVES the snow! Oh, the zoomies she gets when that fresh powder is covering the mountain ground.. her excitement is contagious.
Basically, she is the sweetest, most silly spotted goose you'll ever meet! And, maybe you've even seen her, soaking up the rays of sunshine in the summer or, being wild and crazy in the fresh fallen snow on your drive up Ski Rd. at some point. <3

I wish this is where our story could end but, unfortunately, we are in need of some pretty substantial help and this is where Yuki's story becomes distressing.
Now, less than six years old, Yuki has ruptured both of her Cranial Cruciate Ligament's and needs TPLO surgery.
Both of her hind legs have become lame, with the left now almost completely unable to bear any weight. In a very short time, she won't be able to walk at all. The only option to keep her, and keep her alive, is this surgery and it is excruciatingly expensive! To watch her struggle just to stand and walk to eat out of her dog bowl, or come greet someone when they walk through the door is heartbreaking. Her mobility is rapidly declining and she deserves so much more. Yuki has SO much life left in her. So many more trails to explore, more deer to chase and more people to make smile with her goofy, sweet presence.

Asking for help isn't easy. Admitting that we cannot save her without support is a hard reality to face. So, here we are.
If it is any way possible for you, or someone you know to contribute to the cost of Yuki's surgery, know that she and our family will forever be grateful. The kindness will flow forward into the world as we continue to live with Yuki by our side.
