My name is Kaytlynn Chey, daughter of Tiffany and Chansok, or CJ, Chey, sister of Preston Chey. Today something pretty bad happened to my family.

Several months ago my mom moved in with me and my aunt, so our house at Bertrand Island was vacant. My dad moved in to help my family take care of our home and have a place of his own. But today disaster struck and our family home at Bertrand Island was completely engulfed in fire. Thankfully no one is hurt, but the roof caved in and the second floor collapsed. Everything dad owned and most of our family momentos were lost in the fire.
