Evonne Martinez Memorial Fund

The Family of Evonne Martinez is asking for support in response to her untimely and unexpected passing on Sunday July 14th, 2019. Evonne was a 34 year old,  hard working, single mother who worked beginning as a child herself, to raise and support her two children. She leaves behind  Ruben (age 20) and Lily (age 11). Though Ruben is now an adult and living on his own, Evonne was still a great part of his support system. Evonne’s mother will be taking over the care of her granddaughter Lily in her daughter’s absence. We are asking for donations, big or small to aid in the cost of burial expenses.  As well as to assist in the financial support of Lily, and to aid Ruben as he continues to grow into a successful adult. Anyone who knew Evonne in her life knows that in her passing she wishes nothing more than for her family to be cared for in her absence. It is a blessing that Lily will be in the care of her grandmother in her mother’s absence however as this is unexpected any financial support you are able to give will aid the family in adjusting to this new arrangement.  

We are asking our friends and community to contribute to this support to relieve even a small amount of stress on her mother and children while they mourn this devastating loss.
