MSU Mustang Racing S2022

Formula SAE is an up-and-coming legacy here at Midwestern State University - WF. We are a student-led design team that is presenting to a fictitious car manufacturer in an international competition in May 2022. We take an open-wheel formula one style vehicle from concept to design to manufacturing in less than a year to then compete against 150 other universities around the world.

 

This year we will accomplish what very few first-year teams do, enter the competition the first year we are founded! We are deep in our manufacturing stages with brilliant minds working around the clock to ensure its completion.

 

This lets our students get real-world experience by applying what they learn in the classroom to our program. Formula SAE is also very well known by many companies; being a part of this program ensures our students have a leg up on others for internships and jobs after graduation. Overall, Formula SAE prepares our students for the real world through experience and hard work, making us all a better hire!
