Help Stephen
Hello, my name is Carmen. On behalf of myself and my spouse, Rigoberto Solano Angulo, we are fundraising for our nephew Stephen who lives in Costa Rica.
On May 17, 2023, our nephew Stephen was involved in a near-fatal motorcycle accident in Costa Rica. Sadly, Stephen's left leg was severed on impact. An attempt to locate the severed limb was unsuccessful and any chance of reattachment was lost. Stephen also sustained injuries to his left arm which left him with limited use. Stephen is truly lucky to be alive.
Stephen needs help with things we take for granted such as groceries. At this time he is residing with his mom while receiving physiotherapy in preparation for his prosthetic limb. He tries not to eat too much he says as he understands funds are very limited in a household where only one parent works. Stephen's new goal is to become mobile as soon as possible so that he can go back to work. Resuming work will not only enable Stephen to support his little girl, but he will also be able to pay for his University studies.
Many of us take our mobility for granted. I am writing today to remind myself and others to give thanks. Your help can secure a brighter future for Stephen and his little girl. Your gift will help Stephen reacquire his independence and by helping him, you will confirm what we already know, it takes a village.
We understand not everyone is in a position to donate, but we would be grateful if you could please help by sharing this and spreading the word within your networks.
Thank You
