Please Help our Dear Friend Fight the Biggest Battle of her Life!

Our dear friend and colleague Ms. Pichardo has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and needs as much help and support as possible. As many of you already know, Ms. Pichardo has dedicated her life to helping the students, parents, teachers, and communities of LAUSD. As a Healthy Start Coordinator, Ms. Pichardo has endeavored to support the LAUSD students by helping needy families in various aspects. Her focus has always been to provide comprehensive school-based services and activities that cater to the academic, social, and emotional needs of LAUSD students. She has organized countless clothes and food drives, free medical, vision, and vaccinations clinics as well as providing mental health resources to help support our most needy families. Please help us provide that same support to her in her time of need.

With her new diagnosis, Ms. Pichardo is facing an uphill battle and we can all make this battle a little easier for her to conquer. We can help by donating illness days, prayers, and funds to help support her during this much-needed time. We all know that insurance covers some of her medical bills, but we are all aware that much more goes into fighting cancer. Ms.Pichardo will have to go through ALL of her sick days, and will most likely miss many work days without pay. This battle will no doubt leave her with a great financial burden.
