Dr. Eran Kessous is a Sports Medicine physician with offices in Silver Spring and Gaithersburg. He founded his practice, Montgomery Sports Medicine Center , to help athletes of all ages reach their full potential and to help those with injuries to get back to the activities that they enjoy the most.
In October, Dr. Kessous will be climbing North Africa's highest peak, Mt. Toubkal in Morocco, and would like to use this challenge to raise funds for Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Mt. Toubkal is 4167 meters high, but the trek to the summit will span 2 days and approximately 7400 meters. If you'd like to participate in this fundraiser, you can pledge a flat amount or make things interesting with a per-hundred-mile pledge (e.g. "I pledge $1 per 100 miles, or $74 total".) to give Dr. Kessous added motivation to make it to the summit.
