This outstanding group of young ladies redefine passion, hard work and dedication. The Miami Springs Lightning travel team is made up of 15 very talented girls from a small community in South Florida. They play the game with a real sense of teamwork and commitment which is always a joy to watch. “Resilience, that’s the first word I think of when I think about this group of girls,” said head coach Alex Torres.
As we prepare for the upcoming season the team often reflects back on their progress over the years. This team has won many local and state tournaments over the past couple of years and continues to make strides. They are already signed up for many local and state tournaments over the next 6 months and are looking for your help to
alleviate some of the costs involved in travel softball.

From the players, to coaches, to parents and volunteers this small town community has come together to give these girls a place to have fun and learn the game. There are many costs associated with travel softball including equipment, tournaments costs, league fees, uniforms, insurance and hotel stays. Any donations will go directly to this team. We are a non-profit organization built by and run by parents and volunteers. We appreciate any donation, large or small it all helps.
