Help Rebuild Our Uncle's Home After Hurricane Melissa
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
My name is Stacy Ann McLean. I'm reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart on behalf of my family in Jamaica, to ask for your help in rebuilding what he lost when Hurricane Melissa tore through Lambs River, Westmoreland, Jamaica.
Our uncle's home was completely destroyed by the hurricane. In one devastating night, the winds took everything: the walls that sheltered us, the roof that protected them, and so many irreplaceable memories.
Now, all that remains is the foundation and our determination to rebuild.
Like many families in rural Jamaica, he has worked hard, but Hurricane Melissa's destruction was beyond what we could have prepared for. The damage is extensive. The funds raised will be used as follows:
Complete roof replacement
Walls needing to be rebuilt
Furniture and household items that were lost
Personal belongings that were washed away
The cost to rebuild is overwhelming, but we refuse to give up on the place that means so much.

Hurricane Melissa took the house, but it couldn't take our spirit. It couldn't take the love of our family or the resilience that runs through our veins. With your help, we'll rebuild—and when we do, it will stand as a testament to the power of community, compassion, and the unbreakable bond of family.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
