On Thursday October 6th, MSgt Aaron Lapka’s father Todd and step mother Sandy flew in to Phoenix, AZ to vacation with family friends. Upon departure from the Phoenix airport they were involved in a multi vehicle accident in which the aforementioned friends unfortunately succumbed to their injuries. Todd and Sandy both received and are receiving care in the ICU while remaining stable. Sandy has since been discharged from the hospital with several broken ribs and some general bumps, bruises, and cuts. Todd had reconstructive surgery on his shattered pelvis on Monday, October 10th and will now undergo a series of surgeries to repair and mend several broken bones in his face. Aaron is currently alongside his dad and step mom assisting every way he can.

Todd and Sandy will remain displaced from their home in Montana for an undetermined period of time while receiving medical treatment and rehabilitation. During this time they will be residing in a hotel or rental property while incurring additional unforeseen expenses aside from medical care.

There is much uncertainty at this time and I respectfully and kindly ask you to contribute anything you can to help this family out during these tragic times. All funds donated will be going directly to the family.
