After nine years of being a beloved teacher at Escuelita de Alma, Ms. Deisy is resigning to focus her attention on her family in light of her husband's declining health. Her last day will be June 2.
Since being diagnosed with diabetes, Ms. Deisy's husband's health has continued to worsen. Because of surgery he needs, she and her family will be in Mexico this summer, and he will require approximately two months to recuperate. As a result, Ms. Deisy will focus her attention on managing his construction business and being the sole caretaker to keep her family afloat - now on one salary rather than two.
While our babies will miss her so much, NOW is our time to help ease the transition for Ms. Deisy. Let's show her our support and gratitude for being an awesome teacher with Escuelita de Alma.
