I am creating this GoFundMe to help my friend, Nick, whose dog needs surgery.

Over a week ago, his good boy, Zeus, was hit by an SUV on a dark, cold night. The person that hit Zeus said after he noticed he hit a black dog, he and his son tried to find Zeus in the area but didn’t find him.

For 6 days, his family, Nick, and I drove around the area and even walked throughout the woods in the area to find Zeus. Finally, we received a message through Facebook that Zeus was found by a neighbor close by and we immediately went to get him.

Ever since he was found, he has been at the Vet receiving antibiotics for cuts, impailed sticks and branches, open wounds in his legs, and was constantly filling full of blood near his lungs that needed to be removed. We thought everything was going smoothly until we received a heart-breaking call. Zeus is in need of surgery as his diaphragm has a tear/puncture that is causing fluid to leak internally. Because Zeus has already been there for over a week, his vet bill is becoming expensive, and now with the needed surgery, it will increase even more.

Zeus is loved by everyone who meets him, and still has a long life ahead of him. We refuse to give up on him but are asking for assistance due to the rising cost.

Please help us get the surgery he needs so he can finally come home.
