Mike's Story

At the end of of 2014 my husband fell ill. He became jaundiced and was having pain is his right side. We went to the emergency room, and they ran a MRI. His liver and lungs were showing spots. Mike was then transferred to The James Cancer Center in Columbus, a biopsy and MRI was done. The rests came back that he had advanced stage liver cancer. Doctors then put a stint in his bile duct to help decrease his jaundice so he could take chemo. They did this procedure twice. Since then he has been home and his condition has deteriorated. He is now too weak to take chemo, and the doctor has recommended hospice. We know our days are limited and want to be ready. I have a 10 year old son. The costs of funerals are high and I need help raising money to pay for these cost.
