Dear Friends.
     Many of you know my dog, Weenie, means the world to me. She has
been my constant companion for many years, and has rescued me far more than the 
other way around. Her unconditional love and loyalty has given me the hope 
needed to get through some of my darkest times.
     Recently she suffered a serious back injury and her hind legs were
paralyzed. She had to have immediate surgery and is now home but still unable 
to walk.
     Needless to say, this has been an extremely traumatic experience, not only for her,
but also for me....and there have been many tears and sleepless nights.
     As  plenty of you know, the costs are astronomical and, for me, 
completely staggering. Currently it is over $8,000. and still going.
      For a lot of us, our pets are our children and we'll do whatever it
takes to keep them as happy and heathy as possible, and I'm doing everything I can.
     It's difficult for me to ask for help, but the financial burden has been overwhelming
and I need all the help I can get. If any of you can assist us here, whether with advice, or
the financial part, both myself and Ms Weenie would greatly appreciate it.
