MS-UK Fundraising by Sellafield Ltd Degree Apprentices

Summer in 2026, a group of Sellafield degree apprentices will attempt the Bob Graham Round to spread awareness and raise money for MS UK.

Until then, we will be holding lots of different fund raising events such as fun runs, bake sales, dart/pool tournaments etc! Money raised from these will go towards the funds for MS-UK.

MS UK is a national charity that provides support to anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) including friends and family. They aim to empower the over 150,000 people currently suffering from MS that are living in the UK to live healthier and happier lives.

MS is a chronic neurological disorder that affects the central nervous system, which includes the brain and spinal cord. There is very little known about MS and its causes and there is no known cure.

Currently, there is no consensus around how to treat or manage MS, doubling the uncertainty in people’s lives and those around them.
As Sellafield degree apprentices, we will attempt the Bob Graham Round at the end of our fundraising efforts! This is a challenge that consists of traversing 42 Fells in the Lake District in as little time as possible. The route will take us over some of the most popular fells in the Lake District, such as Scafell Pike, Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Blencathra with a total of 66 miles (106 km) travelled and 26,900 feet (8,200 m) of elevation, which is more than Mount Everest.

Please help us raise £10,000 – enough to make a meaningful difference to many people's lives who have been affected by multiple sclerosis.
