hello hey hi, a vulnerable little egg here asking for a little bit of help!

it’s not really well known n apologies to any close friends i haven’t got around to telling yet, but back in 2019 i was diagnosed with a long-term health condition called multiple sclerosis. ms has a bit of a rep but anyone who knows anyone with it will know that it’s super different for everyone and also a little bit unpredictable. it’s been a bit of an adjustment and a little tough to get my head around at times but treatment has been a bit of a saviour at keeping anything serious at bay.

unfortunately, with the unpredictability of it and there currently being no cure, the treatment i receive is only able to prolong the intervals between relapses. because of this i’ve been trying to take any opportunity i can to experience things i might not be able to in the future.

this treatment is so important in helping me live as much of a normal life as possible and without it i really don’t know how this would’ve progressed. two weeks ago i got the news that i am 1 in 4 people to be accepted into a study abroad programme at australias #1 ranked university for fashion, which is actually wild and i still can’t believe it. the problem is, the next dose of my treatment is due within the last month of my course and is something that my team cannot arrange for me in australia.

ive looked into grants, loans and reciprocal healthcare but due to the rarity of the medication I’m on, I would need to self fund it or risk a huge deterioration in my condition. i’ve been told the cost of the treatment alone starts at around £4,000 with tests on top of this.

the reason for this go fund me is to ask for support in funding this treatment, which would allow me to travel and continue my studies whilst i still have full mobility. i feel super uncomfortable having to ask for help with this but honestly anything would be so so appreciated i can’t even explain
