Hello!
My name is Suzy Tom. I am a first grade teacher at a Chinese Immersion School in San Francisco. In the recent years, my school has been focusing more on growth in student reading and writing through Reader's & Writer's Workhops. I have seen my students become such wonderful readers and writers, even to the point of being able to "publish" their own books in the classroom.

THE PROBLEM?
Our classrooms do not have enough levelled nonfiction books!!
THE SOLUTON:
I am setting up this GOFUNDME to ask for donation from the community to help contribute to my classroom library. My goal is to fill my book carts and bookshelves to overflowing with nonfiction books! It would be awesome for my students to have a wide variety of subjects to read about: science, history, nature, people, etc.
