On Saturday 27th September, I will be participating in a 20km Jog/Walk to raise money to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
MS is a chronic condition that attacks the central nervous system and commonly establishes lesions within the brain. Common symptoms can include extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, vision problems, emotional discontrol, imbalance and coordination difficulties, with many requiring walking aids or wheelchair mobility. For someone living with MS, even everyday activities can become exhausting and unpredictable. With more than 130,000 people in the UK diagnosed alone, there is no cure, but the MS Society offers hope for the future by investing millions in research, and help for today through information, support and campaigning.
Donations will be used for funding vital research, care, and hope for people living with MS, get a better understanding of MS and future development in ways to mitigate and eventually prevent it.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means making a difference to others!
