Thank you so much for taking a moment to learn about my dear friend and coworker Ms. Sam. If you know Ms. Sam you know she is an incredible toddler teacher who puts every effort into supporting her students, their families, and her colleagues with a great deal of care, creativity, and love.
Early this fall Ms. Sam was diagnosed with breast cancer, and will need to take time away from the classroom for treatment.
I know these next steps of fighting cancer will be challenging for her, so please join me in donating to Ms. Sam’s Medical Bills & Recovery Fund. It is my hope that we can offer her some of the thoughtfulness and comfort she offers not only her students but those of us who work with her, and her community.
Ms. Sam and I became fast friends when we met last year. We bonded over our shared passion for bringing art and nature into the classroom as well as our appreciation of the pure silliness that comes with working with toddlers. Some of the best moments of my day are overhearing conversations between her and her Red Class kiddos. Her students adore her, and she will be extremely missed by all of us at school while she is away.
