If you know our mother Ms.Peggy, you know she is the heart of our family. Full of life, always lifting others, and the first to show up when someone needs help. Over the past week our world changed unexpectedly. After what was supposed to be a routine neck surgery, Peggy suffered a rare and serious stroke in the back of her brain. This led to a life-saving brain surgery and now treatment in an intensive care unit.

Thanks to the incredible doctors and Peggy’s own strength, she is fighting her way through the critical phase. She remains in the Neuro ICU and will face a long journey of healing-including specialized neurological rehabilitation and physical therapy to regain strength and independence.
