The Denver West High School community is asking for your support for the family, friends, and students of our beloved teacher Ms. Mary 'Lila' Kuusisto. She was an amazing educator and cherished member of our communities who was a dedicated to making a difference in the lives of all her students. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her impact extends to communities in Ireland, Texas, and Colorado and her passing was a shock to all who loved her.

Our school is raising funds to help cover the costs of her memorial and funeral expenses as we support her loved ones. As Ms. K would have wanted, she would refuse any gifts or contributions directly to her, and instead give more of herself to the students and the charities she loved.

All contributions will be supporting her community of loved ones as they honor a HERO TEACHER and will be directed to her beneficiaries in order to make sure she is REMEMBERED FOREVER in the communities she called home.
