Ms. Kayane's Road to Recovery

Ms. Kayane Toumbalian is the former principal of the AGBU LNKG school in Aleppo who has spent her life inspiring and educating generations of students. Her unwavering commitment to education and the Armenian community has been instrumental in providing a safe and nurturing environment for students during times of crisis, especially during the devastating war in Syria.

However, in November 2021, Ms. Kayane received a cancer diagnosis and has been undergoing intensive treatments in Beirut, Lebanon. Despite the obstacles she is facing, Ms. Kayane remains determined to overcome this illness and return to the community she loves. With the support of her family, community organizations, friends, and students, she has already made great progress in her fight.

To aid Ms. Kayane in her cancer recovery journey, her loved ones have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for her medical expenses.
