Ms. Heather Phillips Cancer Care

Heather Phillips is an exceptional educator who has spent the last 2+ decades working wirh children in the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. She has spent that time teaching, helping, and changing the lives of students, supporting her fellow teachers on committees and by supporting anyone who asks in any way she can. It should be noted that It takes a very special person to work with middle schoolers every single day:) Heather is that special person.

Now Heather needs our help! Heather is battling an aggressive form of cancer, which has caused her to go out on disability, for now. Immediate treatment is a Hip Articulation Amputation of her right leg, and even more treatment beyond that. With the difficult road she will face ahead, Heather will face financial hardship.

Funds will support Heather’s cost of living by supplementing that which disability does not cover. As well, funding will go to other medical expenses that are coming down the road. This has been a heavy burden for Heather. We would like to be able to raise enough funds so that she can have an electric wheelchair, and any supplemental medical supplies she will need to make this otherwise unbearable situation bearable. Heather has now been in the hospital for 6 weeks. This would be a huge “pick-me-up” for her.

For one who gives so much of her heart and soul to others, it is a call out to the community to send it right back to her.
