Ms. Forney was the manager of the Howard Law bookstore for over 25 years. She has helped thousands of HUSL students through their journey, but now she is in need of our help.

In June, she was suddenly let go when Howard changed bookstore vendors. She has not reached retirement age and is now struggling to pay her mortgage and bills. She is actively looking for work in the DC area.

We are asking HUSL alumni to pitch in to help her pay the bills until she finds gainful employment.

Anything you can spare—a one-time donation or a monthly contribution—is appreciated.
