Miss Emma needs us!

Hi, our names are Shannon Lin and Danielle Mitola, long time parents at Union Cong. We also adore our resident UC 'Mary Poppins,' Miss Emma!

As you may know, our beloved teacher and friend recently experienced an unimaginable loss, the passing of her husband. David Hellman fought courageously during his 8-year battle with cancer.

In the midst of her dedication to our little ones, Miss Emma is grappling with the overwhelming grief of loss and the financial strains of her husband's years of medical treatments, along with her day-to-day bills and two children in college.

Miss Emma is a very private and strong woman, who would never ask for such a handout. But, in the spirit of the holidays and in such a loving school community, we'd like to ask for contributions toward the Hellman family. She has done so much for our children that now is the time to give back! Anything helps, big or small. We appreciate you!!
