Ms. Beyer's 6th Grade Class to CIMI

Please help Ms. Beyer’s 6th Grade class get to CIMI!!!

At Ville de Marie, Ms. Beyer’s 6th Grade science class studies marine life and the wonders of the ocean.  The kids love this topic and are always eager to learn more.  But living in Phoenix, the desert is not always the best place to learn about crabs, seals, kelp forests, and sea urchins.  So for the first time, Ville de Marie has organized a field trip to CIMI (Catalina Island Marine Institute - ).  The kids will get to kayak, snorkel (including night snorkeling!), interact with live animals and plants, and get a hands on experience they will never forget.  They will also be taken on hikes across Catalina Island to explore and learn about the beautiful tropical plant life on Catalina Island.

The program is 3 days and 2 nights (February 20-22, 2019) and is packed with educational information that will very much enhance their science class and strengthen the love of learning that Ville de Marie is proud of.  And since we are driving from Phoenix, we are also planning to tour the Mission at San Juan Capistrano on our way to catch the ferry boat!  The kids are very excited, and they are doing everything they can to raise money to ensure this trip is a success.  If you are willing to support them, they would greatly appreciate any donations to help make this trip possible.  The costs are higher than normal due to travel and lodging from Phoenix, but with support from our family and friends, we are confident we can make it happen.  All donations go directly to fund the kids and Ms. Beyer (other adult chaperones are paying for themselves), so please consider supporting the kids!

Thank you for your consideration and please keep us in your prayers!
