Ms. Bert's Homegoing Celebration

My mom passed away yesterday after a long struggle with COPD. She  fought a long, hard battle and I want to find comfort in knowing that she is resting now. Her fight is over.  To have gotten the chance to know my mom was a  true blessing. She was a kind, self-less spirit. Everybody she met was family, especially kids. She was best known in the city as Ms. Bert on Bus 188. She was the light for so many kids for so many years. They were her kids and she loved them like her own. She was the mom that would get out the car and dance at red lights. She was my best friend. I want to give her the homecoming that she deserves, full of laughs, good memories, and love. Anytime I asked what she wanted for Christmas, birthdays, etc she'd respond Peace, Love and Happiness. So that's what she will get. Any amount you would like to donate towards her homegoing expenses would be greatly appreciated!
