Hello, my name is Jennifer. I am an animal lover. I’m the type of person who can't drive past a stray dog or cat without stopping to make sure they are okay.

I moved to a mobile home park on a dead-end road. There were a lot of strays out here, so at the beginning, I started feeding about 8 strays. That number has now turned into 19. It’s very sad. It’s costing me $250 a month to feed the cats, not including the 6 rescues in my house that are my cats. I feed the strays outside a good amount 2 times a day.

I try to keep them full, hoping they won’t have much of a reason to cross the road because everyone speeds down my road since there are no speed bumps—a whole other problem I’m dealing with. I know it’s getting really cold, and I have a big patio but no cover at all, so the cats don’t stay on my porch too much. I’m trying to raise enough money to get each cat a little cat house to keep these babies warm.
