Please help Bill Picon!!

For those of you who know Bill and Rae, you know that they are not ones that usually ask for help. For almost a year now, Bill has been battling medical problems and has seen over 20 physicians with no solution to his health issues. He now has to go out of state for treatment and his insurance does not cover the cost.

Bill went to work one day and was exposed to an ammonia and bleach chemical mixture. His manager aired out the room and told him that is was fine to work. He continued to work for the rest of the day but ended up in the emergency room. They dismissed him because they felt he was in no danger. A few days later, he had to have his gall bladder removed and since has developed fibromyalgia, neuropathy and Mitchell's Disease (an autoimmune disorder). He has lost 100 lbs and the physicians are saying that the chemicals destroyed all of the good bacteria in his body, which has caused a blood brain barrier issue. Duke Medical Center has referred him to Mayo Clinic in Florida, however, they do not take his insurance since it is out of state and the lab work alone is over $5000. That doesn't even include the months of treatment that he has received or the cost of their traveling.

He has been unable to work and they have spent all their savings on medical treatments that were not covered by insurance. Rae has only been able to work part time in order to take care of Bill and her children, Adrianna age 8 and Gianni age 4. Bill's employer did not provide worker's compensation and have not provided any support.
