Medical Emergency - The Basta Family

On August 18th, 2023, John and Melody Basta were in a terrible motorcycle accident. They were headed to Indiana for the weekend and hit gravel in the road. Melody was thrown forward and flipped several times sliding down the roadway. John was crushed by the bike and thrown into a field. They were taken to a Trauma 1 medical center in Fort Wayne Indiana. Melody is very bruised and has a ton of road rash. She is in a great deal of pain but refuses to leave John's side. John has suffered several broken ribs, fractures in his neck and lower back and a brain bleed that they are monitoring closely. He will be out of work for several months. We, (her friends from PA, NY and OH), are asking you to dig deep and help support the Basta family financially through their recovery. Both John and Melody would give the shirts off their back to help others in need. Let's take care of them so they can focus on healing through this journey.
