Mrs. Riley's support fund

Nearly 3 years ago, I was hit by a car during a friend's bachelorette party. It was pretty bad. Lucky for me, Susan O'Kelley Riley is my actual mother. Like birthed me actual. Also lucky for me, Mrs. Riley is debatably the most loved woman in the city of Decatur. Because all of you love her so INCREDIBLY much and rallied around her-- I am still alive today. You picked up our family and protected us as we struggled through our most difficult time. We couldn't have done it without you.

The power of community is incredible and I could feel it every day. I remember laying in my hospital bed at Shepherd Center and quietly stalking all of you on my phone. Who are all of you people?! The common link, Decatur and Susan.  

Friday afternoon (February 26, 2015), Mrs. Riley was asked to leave the City Schools of Decatur property. Given no real reason-- and a dry message that an explanation would be provided to her on Monday when she will be allowed to collect her personal belongings.   

Unfortunately, I have to ask for your help again, but this time for my momma. Please consider donating whatever you can-- we are ready to fight for a fair explanaton and real answer.
