Mrs Shaella Bernard-Medical Treatment for MND

Hi, my name is Vinay Joseph and I am raising funds for my mother-in-law Mrs Shaella Bernard. Shaella was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) recently and is suffering from the symptoms of the terrible disease. She has had decreased mobility for a while now and it is getting worse every day, with weakness in her legs and hands, slowdown/slurring of speech, and other issues.

MND is a degenerative disorder affecting the motor neurons/cells which control voluntary muscles of the body, and is a condition for which unfortunately there is no cure.

We have seen a gradual decline with Mrs Shaella Bernard over the past few months and my Father-in-law has been managing her symptoms alone in India, as they progressively come through and her condition worsens.

Recently, through our prayers, we have come across Plexus Neuro Research Centre in Bangalore, who assist and treat people with various neurological diseases and conditions through their treatment program. The treatment program, which we know will not cure mum’s condition, may help in decreasing some of her symptoms and hopefully give her some quality of life back.

The treatment plan through the Plexus Neuro Research Centre is the only real option we have currently to help mum medically, and unfortunately it is not cheap, which is why we require your assistance in helping raise funds for mums treatment. The funds raised will be used to assist mum with her treatment in Bangalore and also with ongoing treatment/medications/equipment when she returns back from Bangalore in Chandigarh.
