Mrs. Saulkin's Therapy Initiative
Donation protected
Please can you forward this to everyone you know, specifically from your year of sem?
Hi Everyone,
I can't thank you enough for what you've contributed in the past to the therapy fund. Bechessed, we were able to really help someone get the help and support (for the first time in her life!!) that she needed. Several alumni reached out to me since then, asking for help for themselves as well. In addition, there are two girls specifically in shana bet this year who are working really hard in order to pay for Shana 2 because they are unable to be home. (but really....)
Both aren't even talking about buying clothing/a coat to wear for the winter (parents are out of the picture) but are just trying to work to help themselves get emotional help that they need in response to trauma that they have unfortunately been through.
I'm reopening the therapy initiative. The need is great, but klal yisroel is greater. I was blown away by how much we managed to raise last time (almost $10.000!!!) I am reopening this so that we can continue helping our sisters (but literally) stand a chance at succeeding in life.
I'm aware that there are organizations that help with this, but as you could imagine it isn't simple to get from them, and of course it's a very specific amount (which don't get me wrong , is so helpful!) but I'm looking to fill in the blanks.
I can't thank you enough for always being so on board with me. I look at this sometimes as a contribution to my own future, as nothing goes unpaid back by HKBH. Each kindness, each dollar will always be paid forward, and as Yossi says, don't let the tzedaka man go away without me giving him something, it's the only money I get to keep forever!!
Hashem should always allow you to be on the giving end.
So much gratitude xx
