Mrs. Rowe to be, Lia’s Momma, Heather Dawn

You were supposed to be Adams bride today, it was the wedding day you have planned for a year and a day you were so anxious for, to become Mrs. Rowe. But yesterday, a tragic car accident changed everything and now you are with Jesus. We will never understand and our hearts are broken. You loved Adam with all your heart and Lia was the center of your world. You were beautiful in every way and moving forward without you is beyond what we can fathom but-somehow someway, we will do so in honor of you and Adam and your beautiful baby girl.

And I need to tell the world that you were the BEST MOMMA, and that because you secured her perfectly in her seat, she will survive you. From the day she was in your belly to the moment you took your last breath, you put Lia first. You will forever be remembered for the bright shining Momma you were, and the light you gave to everyone around you.

At this time we are collecting funds for arrangements as well as for Lia’s future. Adam will need help as he learns to get back up on his feet and take care of Lia before he returns to work as a dispatcher serving our communities where he is so loved and respected. Let’s build a community of people around this beautiful family to love and support them today, tomorrow and always. Many prayers are also needed, so please send them up for my sister Heather’s mom, Adam and Lia and all of us that dearly loved Heather.

Update: We are COMPLETELY humbled and overwhelmed by the amount of support everyone has given through this link, local donations and with phone calls, messages, hugs, cards, kind gestures of support and beyond. No words could express how much support we feel as we navigate this this very difficult time of loss.

It has been amazing to me to see two families come together to now plan to celebrate the life of Heather, when we would otherwise be celebrating the family that had just become one. But the truth is, we were already one family. Adam, Heather & Lia were a family of three living their dream. So now, for a time such as this, I feel compelled to raise our goal. As Lia bounced around my living room last night amongst all of her Mama’s family and friends-it occurred to me that we don’t have just a short time to get through, we have a LIFETIME to support this beautiful little girl, for her entire childhood and education And for the short term, whatever needs arise from time off work and the help it takes to get Adam back on his feet into a new routine of being a single Dad.
