Hi, we are writing on behalf of our friend and teacher colleague, Brittney Rastigue. Brittney is one of the most incredible, kind, caring and enthusiastic human beings we know. She has a passion for teaching and her students love her. She and her husband, Nick, share a two year old daughter, Emma. Brittney was admitted to the hospital early August with minor medical issues, which quickly took a turn for the worse. During one of her procedures, the doctor accidentally nicked her liver, which caused internal bleeding. Due to this complication, her heart stopped for 15 minutes. Although things are starting to improve, she will have a long road to recovery. We are asking for family, friends, and the community to help with the cost of medical expenses, food, and/or anything else the family may need at this time. Even if you aren't able to donate, please say a prayer or send a positive thought her way. We appreciate your kindness and generosity and can't wait to see Brittney's beautiful smile again.
