Hello everyone, if you are seeing this then you know about the unfortunate passing of one of the most sweetest and kind women that has graced the planet. I'm biased I know, but my mother, Detria Murphy, was a jewel. Sunday morning on the 15th of January she fell at her apartment. She called me, and called an ambulance to take her to the hospital. We thought maybe it was her liver causing an amonia spike (when that happens she gets confused, has hardly any energy, overall weak.). She's battled cancer twice a in her liver leaving it in that condition along with the Cirrhosis she had. Unfortunately, within a day both her kidneys shut down. Not long after her liver joined them. From Sunday morning to Tuesday night, she was on deaths door. 1am Wednesday morning I received a phone call from the hospital, saying she would not make it through the night. I rushed to the hospital and met with the doctor. They had a oxygen mask on her, forcing air into her lungs, which had also at this time taken a turn for the worst. I was put in the position to make the decision to take her off life support, and have a chance to say goodbye. Her last words "I love you son" still run through my mind. With her past cancer battles she did not have life insurance and this cost is coming from the family. My aunt is on disability, barely affording her own bills and life. I've worked hard to provide for my mom when she could not afford it. This sudden multi thousand cost is for a funeral for just cremation and a graveside service. I would love to say I can afford the whole thing myself. I can't, and am looking for some help to give one final gift to my mom. A send off she deserves, with no problems.
