It’s Marnie, Mrs. Illinois International 2019. Once again, I want to thank absolutely EVERYONE for your support during the Mrs. Illinois International Pageant last November. I won the state title and will be advancing to nationals because of all of you and your support! However, it's not over yet! I have one more level of competition to conquer! Are you ready for this? A WORLD TITLE!
The Mrs. International® 2019 competition will be held July 15-20, 2019 at the West Virginia Culture Center & State Museum in Charleston, West Virginia. The International Pageant system promotes today's married women, their accomplishments, and commitment to family and marriage. Women around the world are finding this system to be a great opportunity to work with their husband and family to become positive role models. The pageant opens doors for married women around the world.
Whew, this is TOO COOL! This next round requires more training, more travel, a glam squad (yep it’s required guys), LOTS AND LOTS OF WARDROBE, a lengthy hotel stay and more. Now that I've shared all that is involved in winning the Mrs. International title, I want to ask your help.

Food is Medicine: Curing Disease with Plant Based Nutrition
According to the Center for Science and Public Interest, unhealthy eating and physical inactivity are the leading cause of death globally. As an international spokesperson for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) I share the message of the power of food and its ability to treat and heal chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and brain disease. PCRM conducts clinical research on the link between diet and disease and have helped thousands of research participants get healthy. The organization has plant based physicians throughout the world who are dramatically changing the way doctors treat chronic disease and helping create a healthier future for our world.
