Hi, my name is Jamie Flores Dale, and I’ve been a teacher for 23 years. I have taught at Eisenhower Middle School for 19 years. This year I have been teaching 6th grade Reading and English. I have won Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching and PTA Lifetime member. I have sponsored NJHS, Spanish Club, and Pause for Paws. In 2018, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. After my radiation, chemotherapy, and mastectomy, I was declared cancer free. In 2021, my cancer returned and I was declared stage 4 because it had spread to my bones and liver. In August, I started growing weaker and over Labor Day weekend I became paralyzed from my neck down. I’m currently in a rehabilitation facility, trying to relearn how to walk and use my hands. I hope to get back to teaching and walking again. Any monetary donations for treatment and recovery will be greatly appreciated.
