Hi my name is Abby Britten. I work in a Title 1 school with 93.6% of students on the free and reduced lunch program. School funding goes toward providing students with equity and essential items. If any money was left it would be allocated to the teachers to spend on classroom supplies. Due to Covid-19 these funds have dried and now there is no funding left for teachers to supply their classrooms with the tools they need to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment. In 2021 I will be starting the school year in a new classroom and in a new grade underprepared to offer the enriching, vibrant, and engaging classroom that my students deserve.

My Goal is to create a space that makes students feel safe, welcomed, and engaged. Help me raise the funds I need to do a classroom make over and get the supplies needed to have a successful school year and beyond! My future students and I would be most grateful for your help.
