Mrs. Alice Lilian Banda, It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Alice Lilian Banda, who was born on November 29, 1938, and passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, at the age of 86.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mrs. Banda was a woman of extraordinary warmth, generosity, and love for life. Known for her infectious spirit and welcoming nature, she made many cherished friends and was always ready to enjoy a cup of tea with fruit cake.
As a mother to seven children, she was an exceptional cook, seamstress, and homemaker. Beyond her own family, she was a compassionate midwife who supported countless mothers in bringing their children into the world. She also had a creative flair, helping brides prepare for their special days as a wedding planner, offering guidance and care in baking and cooking.
Mrs. Banda dedicated much of her life to community service, visiting the sick and needy, and lending a hand to those who required help with household tasks. Her generosity and selflessness left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
She had a deep love for travel and the outdoors, having lived in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, and the United Kingdom. Her passion for growing flowers and embracing nature brought her immense joy and tranquillity.
Mrs. Alice Lilian Banda leaves behind a loving legacy of seven children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Her loved ones fondly remember her love for life, her incredible cooking, her knack for bringing people together, and her unwavering commitment to others.
As we prepare to celebrate Mrs. Banda’s life and legacy, we kindly ask for support in covering her funeral costs. Your generosity during this difficult time is deeply appreciated.
