Hi Everyone!  It is with a very heavy heart that I have put this page together.  Sweet Makayla is one of my first grade students this year.  For most of her young life she has had to push through the diagnosis of Rhabdomayosarcoma, a rare form of cancer and endured many surgeries and procedures to be cancer free.  She has an extremley supportive family and circle of support around her.  Makayla was doing extremely well and has been the brightest light in our classroom while trying to get stronger and stronger everyday.  Just recently,  the cancer has returned and is at a stage that means her time with us here is limited.  Please take a moment to keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.  More importantly, please consider helping her and the family out as they deal with this devastating news.  Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated!  Thank you so very much!
