Life’s like the ocean. The sea is calm and tranquil and then a swell comes up and waves crash out of nowhere. Harper Burton, such a beautiful girl on the outside, had a swell brewing inside her little body that we had no idea was about to crash. On January 7th Harper developed what looked like three mosquito bites. The next day, they looked like pimples so the doctors started her on antibiotics. By Monday they had erupted into full blown open wounds the size of quarters. Nadia took her to the ER and that is where their story begins. They did blood work and came to Nadia within one hour to let her know that her labs were not good. Nadia walked out of the room and the doctor told her that Harper’s blood was bad. She immediately asked if she thought it was leukemia and her eyes said it all. This marks the beginning of Harper's story, a journey for a 9 year old girl that will shape her life for eternity. Harper has currently been diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. This will be a two to three year ongoing process to heal her body. Your generous donations will help the Burton's give Harper exactly what she needs as she endures this fight. Let's show our appreciation and support to our sweet little Harper and the incredible Burton Family that we know and love so much.
