Help support Jennifer and her family while she recovers from cancer.
Our dearest friend, Jennifer, is facing a tough, yet beatable, challenge, and we need your help so she can face this challenge with all the strength, dedication, and perseverance she holds.
Jennifer was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this year and underwent a colon sectioning on February 6th. The operation went well, but when she went for her post-op appointment, she got the bad news that her colon cancer has spread to her liver. While obviously this wasn’t the news she wanted, her liver cancer is curable with the proper treatment.
Jennifer needs to undergo six months of chemotherapy starting next week, and at least one more surgery. She’s going to need several months of recovery, during which she won’t have an income, and this is where she needs our help. As many of us know, Jennifer’s self-employed as an upholsterer which requires physical strength; strength she will not have as she undergoes treatment. Jennifer’s family depends on her income to help pay household expenses.
Jennifer is an incredibly strong and resilient person with a loving family, friends, church, and community. We all know Jen’ll recover, but we want her to be able to focus on her treatments and getting well without unnecessary financial stress.
