Help Blake get Top Surgery

Hello :) I'm Blake, I'm a trans guy from Bristol who is trying to save for gender affirming healthcare; specifically top surgery.

Getting top surgery would change my life. It would mean I am finally able to feel comfortable in my body. So much time and energy is wasted battling dysphoria everyday. Not having that would mean I could just live my life, feeling like myself.

Gender Affirming care is essential healthcare, but unfortunately its not treated as such. Currently in the UK the average wait time for a referral to an NHS gender clinic is 5+ years , and that's just for a first appointment. Which is why like so many others, I am having to go private to access this healthcare.

I have already self-funded private HRT, but due to the high-cost of surgery, I am having to ask for some help. I contemplated on starting this fundraiser, as I find it difficult to ask for help, however I know how important this is to me.

The surgery costs £4000, with flights and accomodation it's £4600. I am trying to raise £2000 to go towards the cost. I am working full time as a support worker to save the rest, however I am asking for help because I haven't been able to save in the past because of periods of unemployment (due to autistic burnout mainly )
